In 1990 visiting teams in the U-14 event came from Iceland, Scotland, England and the Republic with five Northern Ireland teams involved. Several top flight English sides were present in the U-16 tournament which Spurs won.
John Lynn, outgoing chairman of sponsors the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland - a position he held for 33 years, opened the tournament.
